Nasonex medication relates to corticosteroids class of the drugs. The medication acts by decreasing swelling in the nasal passages.

Therapeutic Uses of Nasonex

Nasonex is generally intended to treat and prevent such medical conditions as seasonal and constant allergies signs of the nose like stuffed or runny nose, itching and sneezing as well as nasal polyps.

Remember how many sprays you have made and discard the container properly as soon as you made the same number of sprays as the one mentioned on the medicine package.

Dose of Nasonex, if Missed

In case you have missed to spray the medicine do it at the moment you have remembered but skip this dosage in case it is the time for your next medication use and follow your common schedule. Avoid spraying two doses at once.

How to Store Nasonex

The US manufactured medication should be stored at the temperature of 77 degrees F or 25 degrees C. Furthermore it is also possible to keep the spray at the temperature of 59-86 degrees F or 15-30 degrees C for a short period of time.

The Canada manufactured medication should be stored at the temperature between 36 and 77 degrees F (2 and 25 degrees C).

Possible Adverse Effects

The use of the Nasonex spray may cause various side effects.

Contact your doctor in case you experience any of the following side effects for a prolonged period of time or they become worse:

  • headache, sore throat, blood-tinged mucus/phlegm, burning/irritation/dryness of the nose, and nosebleeds.

Contact your doctor at once in case you have any of the side effects listed below:

  • pain in your nose, repeated nosebleeds, whistling sound while breathing, vision changes, white patches in your nose/mouth, painful/trouble swallowing.
  • rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
