Foreign object in the skin
Foreign objects that are integrated in your skin but still protruding out of it are a matter of less worry than things, which have, get completely engrafted.
When a foreign object is protruding from your skin:
- Rinse your hands and forearms; cleanse the surface substantially with antiseptic soap and Luke warm water.
- Utilize pairs of tweezers to get rid of breaks away of wood or small pieces of fiberglass, pieces of broken mirror or other broken things.
- When the object is entirely integrated in your skin:
- Rinse your fore limbs and cleanses the skin substantially with antiseptic soap and warm water.
- Sterilize a razor-sharp pin by wiping it with alcohol. If alcohol is not getable, sterilize the pin with antiseptic soap and hot water.
- Utilize the needle (pin) to tear the skin covering the engrafted object and softly pinch the crown of the object outwards.
- Utilize pairs of tweezers to bump off the deep-rooted object. A hand glass (magnifying glass) could aid you to visualize the object more precisely.
- Rinse and dry out the surface. Then apply antibiotic cream, to avoid infection.
- Look for medical checkup if the speck does not bug out easily or is near your eyeball.
