Precautions throughout the work at PC

11/02/2009

Sitting properly at the PC and making regular breaks will enable you to spend long hours working at the PC with minimal harm to your body. Wrong pose leads to such consequences as neck and spine ache, hands stiffing and eyes tiredness quite soon.

Thus according to American scientists the work capacity decreases generally. American surgeon-orthopedist academy published a list of recommendations for millions and billions of people that spend quite long time working at the PC due to certain job or their personal reasons.

First of all, orthopedists advise to sit properly at the desk where your PC is based. The body should be kept in straight position so that the upper part of your shoulders was on the one vertical line with your ears. It is not advised to settle back or bend, and from the view at the side your shoulders should be on the one vertical line with your thighs. Try to relax the upper part of you arms from shoulder joint to the elbows and keep them closer to the body. You shouldn’t strain wrists and finger when typing on the keyboard.

American orthopedists also recommend making regular brakes during the work, leaving your desk and relaxing your hands and fingers. It is also quite important to provide a rest to your eyes. Turn off from the display as much as it possible. Furthermore the display should be placed so it shimmer less. Moreover it should be placed according to already accepted rules – straightly before your eyes, so that your view was directed forward most of the time and not up- or downwards.

US surgeon-orthopedists wish you not to forget these simple rules and follow them as often as it is possible. You will not regret.
