27/02/2009

Italian scientists have recently made a discovery that may inspire women to give up smoking. According to the researches those women gave up smoking grow younger for 13 years during 9 months.

This conclusion was made by Lidia Levandovsy a dietitian and Adele Sparavinya a dermatologist after two wide-ranging researches. Scientists have evaluated the condition of the skin of 200 non-smoking women. Basing on the objective skin characteristics (elasticity, resiliency, underfeature) they have developed the definition of the face skin age chart.

644 smoking women had to give up this habit throughout the second research. They were clinically observed and passed various tests throughout 9 months. And the results were amazing. The skin of those women gave up smoking has grown younger for 13 ears on the average. Furthermore they have lost several kilograms of the weight.

The research results are already used by the Italian smoking control union in their campaign. The billboards containing following slogan – You’ll be beautiful in case you will give up smoking! – appeared in this country recently.
