The Ajou and Yonse University scientists issued the results of the research concerning the new way to fight A virus (H1N1) also known as swine flu. 

The Korean experts revealed that such simple mean as acidic ozone water (AOW) is quite effective in fighting swine flu virus. It is obtained as a result of the common clear water and small amount of hydrochloric acid mix. During the experiment the acid was added into the water (22 grams of the acid per ton of water). After this the appearance of the negative chlorine ions that are quite deadly for the swine flu was reported to happen and the pH water value decreased from 7 to 4.

The compound obtained was additionally ozonized (in following proportion 20 milligrams of the gas per 1 liter of the water) with the aim to increase the sterilization effect including due to the additional water acidation with the products of the ozone decay. Only five minutes of the contact with AOW were quite enough to kill 430 thousands of the viral particles.

It is quite easy to imagine the possibilities of the preventive processing of the premises with the AOW. And the simplicity and accessibility of the compound components should make it quite cheap even comparing to the simple but effective super airpurifier used in hospitals.

It is quite interesting that after the compound kills the virus it starts to decay itself and finally turns into common water having no negative affect on the environment. We should also notice that initially experts studied AOW as a mean for protection against potential threat of the biological weapon. The results of the research were issued in the Applied Physics Letters.

At the same time the closest to Korea neighbors – Japanese fight with the virus with the help of cell phones and scientists in Harvard try to invent a universal vaccine and many people simply are reported to have immunity to swine flu.
