Various hunger types: intellectual hunger, stomach and heart one

Hunger is what frightens and stops the most part of the people willing to loose their weight too often.

Hunger is what makes the human to break the diet and get a good meal. The hunger depends up to various reasons it may vary even in the same person considered in various conditions. Did you notice such situation – unexpected urgent job to be done or interesting talk and you have already forgotten about the meal.

Many people completely loose appetite during the stress. It appears too often that person takes a decision to loose weight straight due to the stress. He just looked at himself from the outside and got frightened. Anger and guilt targeted at oneself have an effect and the will to loose weight comes true.

At the start the stress condition helps to deal with the hunger. As the stress increases the adrenaline and noradrenalin activity. These hormones negatively affect the appetite center in the human brain.

Some time later this mood disappears and the temptations remain the same…

The human being an biopsychosocial creature permanently needs energy inflows:
- feeding (stomach),
- information (brain),
- emotions (heart).

The lack of information, emotions or food we take as the hunger however we are not commonly differing the exact type of the hunger.

The lack of informational and emotional energy may be considered as stomach hunger and partly become dull due to feeding. It is quite clear that stomach hunger satisfaction is the most ease to do action. The stomach hunger may not even take place but the hunger as “the lack of something important” is an obligatory one. Quite often this is a lack of positive emotions or the stability and comfort feeling as well as the lack of interesting (in the sense of information) activity.

As the body is a biopsychosocial creature it notifies us about its hunger at any of these levels. Due to the physiological and mental processes complex we can feel the stomach most clearly, it is probably also caused by our habit to “hear” it. The first intention is to provide the stomach with everything required. The satiety and pleasure feelings obtained only prove that we’ve done the correct choice despite the fact that the need of communication is only deadened successfully. Sometimes this or that food type is being associated with the comfort and security.

Sometimes eating of anything at all brings certain calming… This is caused by the blood inflow to the stomach and correspondingly it outflow from the brain. Subconscious reactions also contribute to this. So what are the conditions our body considers as the hunger?

- nervous condition caused by negative information expectation or its premonition or by uncertainty;
- solitude, depression, inactivity;
- the passive expectation of positive emotions (like better living conditions, problems solution, new familiarity, certain trouble salvation and etc.);
- limitation or the primitivism of the communication;
- positive emotions limitation;
- low self-appraisal;
- all destructive emotions.

These conditions may be referred to the section of the “mental hunger” and “activity hunger”. Instead of acting we wait passively. In this case something inside you starts “moving”. These are the internal processes that are often interpreted as the activity requirements.

Instability that is caused by such discomfort conditions is being temporarily eliminated by the concept of the food. The meal as the sign of comfort (the feeling of satiety calms down) my decrease the discomfort when you visit somebody.

Mutual meals not to mention drinks bring people together. In this situation it is worth while to pay more attention to people, their clothes, behavior or get a little flirt and only then eat something in case you will wish to.

Many suppose that the person is hungry when the stomach is empty. But the people having no stomach at all also may feel hunger. The decision to eat at this or that time is taken by the brain as it monitors the blood glucose and fat level. When these materials blood level decreases the brain initiates a signs informing us we need to get a meal. The stomach also sends certain signs to the brain. It is quite logically to suppose their interaction should perfectly control the food intake.

So why we grow fat?

It is quite simple. The formation of the human as a separate type took place in a period when the food was in lack from time to time. The body used the accumulated fats to survive within the off years. Now we have more food and it contains more fats but we cannot consider this difference yet. There is no physiological mechanism indicating we have overtaken calories. This explains the increased weight partially. But the remedy against weight growth is the activity and correct nutrition.

It is important to understand the reason of your overeating. The security strategy is up to your answer. For instance, when you’re going to read a book just try to be carried away with an interesting plot and not by the nuts and sweets.
