Acoustic neurofibromatosis
this is the name of the genetic condition that is characterized by the tumor appearing on the inner ear nerves thus leading to the hearing and balance loss. However tumor in this situation may also appear in the brain, as well as on the skull and spinal cord nerves but the consequences will be different one, like loss of the speech, ability to swallow and move eyes.
