Blood sugar level
is also known as blood sugar concentration or glucose level. It shows the amount of the glucose appearing in the blood of the human. Glucose is the initial energy source for all cells of the organism. It is delivered throughout the body with the blood stream. Inability of an organism to maintain normal glucose level may lead to certain medical conditions called as hyperglycemia (characterized by increased glucose level) and hypoglycemia (characterized by decreased blood glucose level).
