Blood vessels
transport the blood throughout the whole organism. The large vessels called as arteries and veins. They provide the blood flow to and away from the heart. The small vessels are called capillaries. Their purpose is to provide natural exchange of water and other substances between the blood and the tissues where the capillaries are located in.
