Insulin
is a hormone that has an effect on the metabolism of the body and its several other systems. It makes almost all cells of an organism to take the glucose from the blood and don’t use the fat as the source of energy. The decreased level of the insulin or its absence causes the disease called as diabetes mellitus. Insulin is applied to treat diabetes mellitus (commonly the first type of this disease).
